Presentation of the wide cultural offer of Multisport Pontevedra 2025
02 June, 2025

The extensive programme of parallel activities that can be enjoyed by those who come to Pontevedra during the last ten days of June to coincide with Multisport was presented by the mayor, Miguel Anxo Fenández Lores, in one of the most unique sports shops in the city, the Miler Vintage Running Club, where a musical session will take place on Tuesday from 18h with Arque Dj.
The mayor was very satisfied with the breadth and variety of the programme ‘which shows our identity very well and involves part of the city's musical world in this event, which is becoming more and more interesting and global’.
There are 25 points of interest, including concerts of different formats, art, and events related to LGTB culture such as Pride, the Queer Fair or the Ambienta Film Festival at the Principal. On the eve of Pride, on the 27th, Mondra, the queer star of the most recent Galician electronic music scene, will perform.
One of the highlights will be the performance of the five-time Triathlon champion Javier Gómez Noya, who with his group Liorta (‘Pelea’) will close the cycle, before the performance of Broken Peach, who will bid farewell to the event until the Grand Final of 2026, also scheduled to take place in Pontevedra.
The programme aims to generate a sample of the city's music scene compatible with the festive atmosphere of the sporting event, as well as to support this sector of the cultural industry, thus broadening the range if implications with the proximity resources available to the city.
In addition to the traditional opening with a show by Pablo Mèndez Performances after the parade of flags on Friday 20th, the programme incorporates the events of the International Art Biennial, especially the spectacular projection with music that will take place on the Pilgrim's Way by the French artist Patrick Warrener on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the first weekend.
There will also be small concerts with local artists in different squares of the city and dj sessions in some sport-related shops. The programme also includes information about the Biennial of Art, which will be present in several cultural venues in the capital, and the sports fair that will be set up in Montero Ríos, where a great cosmopolitan atmosphere will be created, as all those taking part in the event must go there to register.
