A map to know where everything will happen
07 April, 2025

A local map has been published which shows the main venues of the event both in the city of Pontevedra and in the stage that will host the cross events, in the Pontillón do Castro.
As always, the sporting epicentre will be at the Puente de los Tirantes and the Centro Galego de Tecnificación Deportiva (CGTD) and the social and informative activities will be based around the Alameda and Plaza de España.
It will be in this square, in front of the Town Hall, where the central stage will be installed, equipped with a large screen and sound equipment for the ceremonies and concerts that will take place during the event. Next to it will be the marquee housing the stands of the athletics village, through which all those taking part in the race will pass to collect their documentation and race kit. The information point and the lost property office will also be set up.
The swimming races in the three disciplines that include this type of event: aquathlon, LD triathlon and LD Aquabike will start on a pontoon set up next to the bridge of Los Tirantes.
Another focal point is the CGTD Stadium, from where the duathlon starts, and where the Duathlon and LD Triathlon transitions and the finish line of all the races are located. The nearby university pavilion is where the cloakroom and the recovery rooms for the age group races will be located.
The fairgrounds will be dedicated to bike rental and the Pazo de la Cultura will be the venue for the briefings of the elite, U23, junior, paratriathlon, age group and managers' teams.
Finally, the David Cal Sports Centre, located in Verducido, 12 km from the city, will be the venue for the cross duathlon and cross triathlon races. This sports centre is the headquarters of Galician stillwater canoeing, a forest park around a historic water reservoir that the city keeps as a reserve in case of drought.
