Circular economy

Redesign, rethink, reduce, reuse, repair and recycle are key actions to achieve this goal.

 
Some of the initiatives we have proposed for the Pontevedra 2025 Multisport Triathlon World Championships include:

• The reuse of water cups in the circuit for the different age groups.
• The collection of clothes and sports shoes in the expo area to be reused by social groups.
• The reuse of signage used in other competitions and the rental of equipment by the FETRI.
• The reuse of the blue carpet of the event in other sports competitions.
• The collection of surplus food in collaboration with soup kitchens.
• The implementation of a policy to avoid the use of disposable and single-use plastic utensils in the catering area, with the aim of becoming a plastic-free event.
